60 POUND WEIGHT LOSS PICS!!!

It happened folks.
And when it did this morning, I cried.
I stepped on the scale and saw that 138 and got THE BIGGEST smile on my face and tears welped up in my eyes.
I have no words to express how proud of myself I am.
I hope you all know how hard I have worked for this.
This is not a quick fix diet I did overnight.
This is 12 months worth of determination and motivation.
Sweat and tears went into kicking and fighting my way through a 60 pound weight loss.
It.is.worth.every.second.
And I only hope I have inspired some of you to want to feel the same.
Without further adieu, here are my

You are SO AMAZING!

Now.. a request: please pack up your beautiful family, move up here to freezing cold Minnesota, and just follow me around making sure I eat correctly and get my butt moving more. The perk for you...? Free babysitting of adorable little Tucker! Or wait.. I think that's ALSO a perk for ME. He is such a doll!

(PS-that plan sounded MUCH more appealing in my head... Haha!)

Congrats again, Brandi! YOU DESERVE THIS!

You do look amazing! I am also 5'6" and went from 153 (after baby #7--11 lbs. 2oz) to 133. I don't think that you need to try and get to 12! You're beautiful now! I think sometimes when we start losing, we think that we have to keep losing and sometimes take it too far! At 133, I looked terrible. My face (which is very thin to begin with) was so hollow that I looked sick! I look my best around 140. I still think that that sounds like a fat number, but I've got to learn to accept it. Also, I can keep to this weight fairly easy and eat what I want....not exactly, I still watch what I eat, but it's not like a diet. :) Take care and good luck!!

Something being simple does not make it easy. Don't forget to pat yourself on the back and give yourself the occasional little "yay me". That's harder for me than the actual workout. Sigh.... As I get healthier, I hope I get better at the "yay me" thing to. Cancer sucks but I 'm beating it a bit every day.

I just have to tell you, this is so inspiring. I'm actually crying right now. I got up to 220 with my 10 lb infant...2 years ago. I got down to 177 bc my job required me to lose the weight, but they wanted me to lose 30 more in a month, and I got discouraged, and it's been absolute crap since then. I'm back up to 194 on a good day, and don't have that job anymore. I've started going to the gym on non school days, and am eating better, but still too much. I feel helpless again, like I won't ever be a normal size again, and I won't ever look like I'm not 4 months pregnant. I was looking at these pictures, and at first, before I saw the side pictures, I thought well, yeah, it's easy to get back there when you don't have the "baby shelf" on the belly. Then I saw the side pics. Thank you so much for putting yourself out there, for putting the real honest pictures here. I'm inspired again, I'm ready to do this. I don't feel helpless anymore. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.

Mama Laughlin,

I came across this site through my new addiction Pinterest. First off, congratulations on looking fabulous! You are an inspiration! Secondly, I'm so glad that you are brave enough to share this great progress with the world. And thirdly, thank you so much for showing the world that a fit woman can look good no matter what the number on the scale says. I'm in the process of getting rid of this extra weight, but I'll admit that it's hard to bear that large number at the end of the day. Seeing these progression photos helps me move beyond this stigma. At your 168 mark, you already looked like a beautifully fit woman remind me it's not the number that counts. Although you look even more remarkable at your 138 mark, it just goes to show you that a beautiful woman is a healthy woman. So thank you.

You look amazing! I'm so inspired, I've lost 30 pounds and have 50 more to lose, feeling like I've hit a plateau but seeing your blog helps me have hope!:) any words of wisdom? I'm 5'9" and went from 230 to 190 and aspire to be at 140. Having a hard time with losing the slight excess belly fat, not a lot. And my hips really want to slim them down.

I just had my daughter 10 weeks ago and have been struggling to lose weight. I gained way to much weight during pregnancy and only lost half so far. I've lost 5 lbs within the last 2 weeks and you've inspired me to keep going. How long did it take you to lose that 60 lbs?

You look amazing. I was so inspired by your journey that I have shared your blog with my weight loss support group on Facebook.

Wooo Hooo! What an inspiration you are. I too write a motivational blog about weight loss http://fitat99.blogspot.com
I've had some great times and some rough times (of which I'm going through right now) You've taken it off in all the right ways as I did, but keeping it off takes some real work. In my blog I talk about things that have triggered me "falling off the wagon"...right now I'm immobile after Achilles tendon surgery....but when I am fully recovered I'll be right back at it....we're all different, but I know for me this is a life long battle that I know how to win...and will be right back to the "fabulous feeling--so proud of my self" days again. Thank you for your inspiration!
