30 Day Shred Results!!!

Okay guys, I finished the Shred!
Check out my stats-

Starting Weight: 148
Ending Weight: 142 (-6 lbs.)
Starting Bust: 37.5"
Ending Bust: 36.5" (-1")
Starting Waist: 32"
Ending Waist: 29.5" (-2.5")
Starting Hips: 40.5"
Ending Hips: 38.5" (-2")
Starting Thigh: 21"
Ending Thigh: 20" (-1")
Starting Arm: 10.5"
Ending Arm: 10" (-.5")

Total Inches Lost: 7"

My stretch marks are clearly visible in these pictures. I did not cover them up because they are part of who I am. I am not ashamed of them, but do not flaunt them by any means. They are part of me and what I have endured. My journey in and of itself is beautiful, stretch marks and all.

I'm pretty pleased with that!!!
I did not reach my goal of losing 10 lbs, but I DID reach my goal of getting into a size 29 jean!!!

I was very pleased with the Shred and recommend it to anyone looking to tone up or drop some inches. However, I don't recommend it for weight loss if that's all you're interested in. But you WILL lose inches with it, for sure!
I went from a size 8/10 to a size 6/8!

What's next? Well I'm not quite sure... I've played around with the thought of P90X, but with a toddler, I'm not sure I'd have that kind of time to devote to working out.
I will keep you in the loop though!

Thanks for following along and I hope your Shred went/is going just as well as mine did!

Wow, you look amazing! I'm totally jealous, I sprained my stupid ankle and haven't been able to work up a sweat in a week! Ugh.

Oh my goodness.. you rock! Look at you!!!!!!
As for P90X.... neh. That's hard stuff with a toddler. ot "hard" but to find the time. Can't wait to see what you do next. Have you thought about the Shred again? I kind of just keep doing it. I add more reps here and there and incorporate some of P90x into it. Just a thought.

Awesome job girl!!! Have you thought about Insanity? It's intense but not as much of a time commitment as P90X. I think I'm gonna do that after the shred.

I love posts like this because I love seeing results!! I always wonder about the maintenance after doing the Shred for 30 days. Will things return to jello quickly? I speak of me, not you. :) I have the Shred but have only used it here and there. Seeing your pics gives me some motivation to try it 30 days straight. Hmmm..

Just stumbled on your blog through Pinterest. You look fantastic! I'm curious if the inches stayed off when you finished the program.

That is amazing! I am struggling with 6lbs left of baby weight from my 1st (and only) and she will be 1 in just 2 weeks =( Besides the 6lbs, it's the inches that are killing me!! Where can I get more information on this "Shred"?

Great job on your results and I see you are doing it again. I just ordered it and am starting on Sunday. My hubby is going out of town for Army work and I am going to surprise him hopefully with some good results myself. :)

I found your blog through Pinterest. Oh my goodness, you are an inspiration. I need to do the Shred again. I lost 3" off my waist doing it one month, a year ago. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. I'm 5'4" and currently 178lbs, desperately trying to lose weight. I actually put on 12lbs in a few months after getting off birth control last year, and not changing anything else. So frustrating! I look forward to reading your blog!

Was there a time in this 30DS journey that you gained? I am on day 9 (level 2) and have gained 1.4lbs! I am trying to find the motivation to keep going but am too scared to gain more! HELP!

There is a quick 10 minute trainer made by the guys from p90x. Good for us moms who don't have a lot of time to devote to working out.

This made me decide I will start the 30 day shred soon. Thanks!

I am so proud of you. I started a blog today after reading yours. I too am trying to lose weight again, as I have my whole life. I am almost 47 years old and my youngest is 24. I lost my weight after I had her, but quickly put it back on. I have thyroid disease and border-line type 2 diabetic. I am determined to get down to high school weight of 125. I am 5'2 and so far, I have lost 22 pds since March, just by cutting portions and exercising about 3 hours a week. Thanks for your inspiration!!

I'm so not a commenter, more the sit back and silently judge others type. However, this photo gave me the kick in the ass I needed. I just started my shred tonight. Thank you for being honest and not sugar coating your posts. Sometimes we all need that (virtual) friend to give it to us straight. Shred away mama!!
