I got off work at noon on Wednesday and met The Hubs for some lunch (read: Mexican food & a margarita).
And then we came home and vlogged. You can see that poopstorm HERE.
Thursday morning we woke up and headed to my parents house for breakfast and an amazing Thanksgiving lunch.
I had one plate of amazingness. Turkey (I like the dark meat twss), mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, roll, mac & cheese, and dressing.
Then we headed to The Hubs aunt's house for a delicious dinner (as if I could eat any more) and to watch the
Seriously, I love the 'Boys, but they are terrible.
My mom, sister, sister-in-law and I go Black Friday shopping every year. We've been doing this for the past 5 years now. We don't stand in crazy lines or anything, we just like the deals they have. But this year we decided we'd go to Target at 10pm (they opened at 9pm).
We spend all day with our families so spare me the "Thanksgiving is about being with family, not shopping"... Uhhh, I shop WITH my family and my boys were at home asleep uhthankyouverymuch so they didn't even miss me.
We headed to Target first and then headed to Express which was having a 50% off EVERYTHING sale and they opened at midnight.
We stood in a minimal line to get in, but the line across the street at Victoria's Secret was CUH-RAZY.
They better have been giving out free implants with a $50 purchase for THAT line!!!
Here is my loot I got at Express:
$230 for 5 shirts and 2 pairs of jeans. Not bad, not bad.
We did stand in a pretty lengthy line at Express to check out- 45 minutes and it was wrapped around the store. But I'm happy with my purchases.
After Express we headed to Macy's and then home by 2am.
I was up at 8am with the boys. We went to breakfast and The Hubs and I bought ourselves an early Christmas present- A NEW BED!
Last Christmas we bought ourselves a new king sized mattress (how did we EVER live without one!?!) and have just had the mattress & bed frame, no headboard or footboard.
So we bought a rustic 4 poster bed.
I know, we're so country.
We headed home, took naps and hung around the house rest of the day.
Then that night headed to some friends house for some drinks and to let my kids destroy their spotless house.
I'm sorry I'm not sorry, Erin!
Saturday morning we were up and headed to Thanksgiving #2, 2 hours away at The Hubs dad's cousin's house.
Are you still with me!?
You know you're in the country when...
There's a Tangles & Tanz next to a Catfish Heaven.
We hung out with the fam and had another amazing meal.
Home at 10pm and bed for everyone.
Yesterday we had family pictures with the amazing Eleven Thirty Six Images.
My family picture outfit:
top & jeans- Express
necklace- Old Navy
boots- Target (a few seasons ago)
leather cuff- the market in downtown Charleston, SC.
I can't wait to show you all the pics! I'm excited to see them!
Then we had frozen yogurt and headed home to put up the Christmas tree.
Tree is up, but not decorated yet!
Baby steps..
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you all did as well!
Count your blessings!

I go Black Friday shopping with my mom every year too. For us it is more about spending time together than anything...though you gotta love scoring some awesome deals while you are at it! LOVE the stuff you got an Express!

I heard on the radio that a few ladies got in a physical fight at VS - over what really??? crazy people.
As for the bed - my hubby and I are thinking the same thing (obvisoulsy next year since we already went over our budget this year).

I prefer to shop online, besides I had to work Friday. It's all good, I am about to get laid off so I need the $.
Sounds like a great weekend! Love the bed you chose. I didn't do any shopping. BF always seems to fall on my non-payday week. Boo. So instead I dozed in my chair all day and finally got showered/cleaned up/presentable at 4pm. So? Can't wait to see the family pics!
Awesome score at Express!! So glad you had a great Thanksgiving!! Have a good Monday :)
Wasn't that football game AMAZING??? We here in Washington, DC couldn't have been more pleased, especially hearing 'RG3' chanted in Cowboys' Stadium. I loved every minute!!

In our current house that ishh wont fit though hehe. Love that rustic looking bed! Hope to see some of the fam pictures though I'm sure they came out amazingly!
Just a tip if you plan on hitting up Express (or most other mall-based clothing stores): most stores actually started their sales on Monday. I barely saw another soul on Wednesday when I tore around the mall in a fury of I-can't-believe-freakin'-everything-is-half-off.
Looks like you had a fabulous Thanksgiving! My hubby and I have yet to put up our Christmas tree, but it IS at the top of our to-do list! When we do put it up, I'll hashtag "mamastrees" on instagram! :)
