Christmas Coma Part 1

I hope you all had a great Christmas.
We sure did.
I am in a food/holiday coma over here and I'm so ridiculously unmotivated to do anything.
It doesn't help that we've gotten snow here the past few days, this never happens folks.
It doesn't snow in Dallas. Like ever.
And when it does, people freak out.
WATCH OUT EVERYONE, THERE'S A QUARTER INCH OF SNOW ON THE GROUND! WE BETTER STAY INSIDE FOR 7 DAYS AND START BURNING BOOKS FOR FUEL!
It's cray.

The boys had a great Christmas. The amount of toys in our house is driving me insane. I plan on purging and donating some of their old toys.
On a side note, when will I ever get my house back?
Our house has been taken over by toys. It gets worse at every birthday, holiday, etc.

Big T came out of his room on Christmas morning at 7:30am and said "SANTA ATE THE COOKIES ALL!"
Be still my beating heart, he gets it!
I love that he's getting to a good age and understands. Last year he was just kind of ho-hum and didn't understand what was going on.
And not to mention we were in the PICU with MJ on Christmas Day last year.
So Big T kind of got cheated last year.
He more than made up for it this year.

Big T's big Santa gift was a bicycle. MJ's was this little plush ride on toy thing that cracks me up.

Part 2 coming soon.

I've got a lot to recap/talk about so stay tuned. But right now there are things that need to get done.
Like housework, laundry, packing, and playing with my babies.
.... and consuming copious amounts of wine.

Ha ha it cracks me up how snow affects you guys. We currently have 6-8 inches with a lovely sprinkle of ice underneath now try running in that stuff. So much fun! Glad you got a white Christmas though, and that you minis enjoyed it:)

I'm from Michigan, so snow is nothing new to us... However, when that 1st snow fall hits (which was yesterday and a little before Christmas) everyone acts like they have never seen or driven in snow before. Enjoy it while you have it! <3

Love the bike! He's such a big boy! and snow- that is so exciting! We were supposed to get some here in STL but we didn't. And I'm ok with that. Even here people drive like morons... even in the flurries!

You are awesome, I love your blog! Something that helps us- before birthday and Christmas we make the kids go through their toys and for every toy they want to keep they have to give a toy to those less fortunate. It works great and my kids love giving toys to goodwill. It also makes space for you too :)

If one day, you wake up and your boys' cheeks are missing, it's because I made a feast out of them. I can't help it - they are munchable.

Annnnnnd....that doesn't sound creepy at ALL. Sigh.

Wine and cleaning is what awaits me today as well! I am SO JEALOUS that you guys got snow! It never ever snows here either, it has maybe twice in my entire life and it melts when it hits the ground. Snow is so pretty! Looks like those kiddos made out like bandits for Christmas, that makes me happy :) Xo!

I feel your pain, toys are everywhere and there is no place to put them all. It pains me to give away the 'old' toys but there just isn't room. As for getting your house back...maybe when they are grown and married and you can shove everything off on their wives!

New follower. I found your blog through Holly. We do the same exact thing in Memphis. I don't even know if we had a quarter of an inch but people were freaking out like it was a blizzard lol.

Super cute! I'm amazed you get so much done with little ones. My kids are older and I can be like "by see you later have some cereal for dinner" but that's not possible when they are that little!
