Christmas Coma Part 2

I'm telling you, I'm in a FUNK.
I can't seem to get motivation to post, y'all!
I'll tell you what I HAVE had the motivation to do the past 2 days though, GO TO THE GYM!
That's right.
I own a gym membership.
And I love you ladies for it. Seriously.
I am able to workout at the same gym as Megan from Miss Madison's Charmed Life.
I haven't worked out at a gym since like 2006. And even then I went for the wrong reasons. This gym I belong to now is an all women's gym. It's small, and it's close. And I have access 24 hours a day.
It couldn't be more perfect.
Hopefully I'll get on Megan's level soon.... well minus the 2 hour a day workouts she does! AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FO DAT!
(Thank you Sweet Brown)
But I've been running (slowly, and very short distances) the past 2 days with NO KNEE PAIN!
I can't even begin to tell you how much I have missed running.
I also can't even begin to tell you how much I'm going to have to work my way up again. I hate that about running- you stop for longer than a week and it's like starting all over again.
But at least there's no pain. I can work with that.

Another reason I haven't posted? Well, I got this little cool contraption called an iPad for Christmas and I can't figure out how to post in the Blogger app.
I mean, I can post, but I don't know how to add links, move pictures, etc.
I'm all discombobulated.
AHHHH technology!
Any apps I must get for this iPad??
And this whole iCloud thing freaks me out.
I don't need multiples of stuffs. I need a tech person to set all this crap up. I have things to do, dammit! Like work on my fitness, clean, nap, and take showers... and drink wine. Duh.

Other things I got for Christmas?
Because I know you all wanted to know...

My new favorite perfume (which The Hubs HATES- can't win with that man!) Coco Chanel Mademoiselle.
It's the most expensive perfume I've ever owned (was a gift from my dad). And it's worth every penny.
Side note- I always have to Google how to spell "penny" ... thanks a lot JC Penney for confusing me on a daily basis.

I got a gym membership, Miss Me jeans, clothes, smell good stuff, etc. But my most favorite gift?
Watching Big T get so excited (because MJ is too small still) about his gifts and saying "thank you, I LOVE IT!" after every present he opened.
It was a really good Christmas for us. I can't wait to see both the boys understand more as they get older.

Speaking of Christmas- I have received A TON of emails of people that helped with with Pay it Forward Movement, donated, and the families that received donations from you all and I can and will never be able to express how thankful and honored I was to be a part of such good deeds this Christmas.
I'll be recapping some of those stories/pictures soon.
If you have pictures or stories of how you helped Pay it Forward this Christmas, send me an email at MLHolidayPayItForward (at) yahoo (dot) com.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all you did, and opening you hearts.
I have said it a million times over, but I have the most amazing readers EVER!

And to thank you all for being such amazing readers I am running a special on Sponsor spots for the month of January.
It includes a special, reduced price, your button in my sidebar, with link to you page, AND a Sponsor Spotlight. I don't usually do Sponsor Spotlights, so this is a great deal. It will get your business or blog maximum exposure and increase your traffic and sales.
If you're interested in sponsoring for the month of January, email me at sponsors (dot) mamalaughlin (at) yahoo (dot) com and I'll get you more info.

A few pictures to end on, because I have no idea how to move them or put them in the correct places.

I am also trying to keep my motivation up! After 4 half marathons and a handful of 5Ks I'm tired!!! Erica

I miss that age that MJ is at - still snuggles when tired. My youngest has zero interest in quiet snuggles now - he is too busy!

Love the idea of an all girl gym! There are a few gyms nearby, but can't justify the spending or time away when I have a treadmill and bowflex in the cold, unfinished basement. [It's ok to be jealous of my personal gym ;)]

Blogging on these iPads does not seem ideal unfortunately. If you find something helpful - let us know :)

Congrats on getting back into the running game!

Blogging on the ipad - I use Blogsy. I found it works nicely with Blogger and there is a lot of functionality with pictures/links/formatting that I didn't have with the blogger app. :)

Blogsy was not free - but I think it's under $5.

Good luck!

Congrats on running without pain! And I hate how quickly you lose running capabilities to, it is discouraging to have to start over.

And I love that brown and white striped shirt, too cute!

I never comment. I'm usually just read but you are great! I love reading all your posts and what you did with the pay it forward is amazing! I have been such a slacker on my blog but I usually do it from my iPad. I use blogsy app. It has been the best one I could find. It's pretty simple about adding pictures.

I love my ipad but don't have a blog (although I've thought of starting one!) so I can't be much help. Congrats on getting back to the running. I got sick a few weeks before Christmas and was unable to run (didn't leave my bed for about 5 days!). Was gonna start running again this week and I'm sick again! Resting up because I'm ready to get back at it.

Girl I am right there with you on the blog app- except from my iPhone. I always write on my phone then have to edit on my laptop (that is evil).

Good for you. Keep it up!! Also you look great in the pics!!

You will get there, geez give yourself a week AT LEAST :) hahaha. If you figure out the damn icloud please let me know! The only thing about using apple software is that they don't have any good blogging software. Windows has Live Writer which is amazing and apple has jack shit.

I've been really struggling with the Blogger app too. My new method is that I draft the content of my post on my iPad, and then I go to the computer and move the pictures around & such. Not ideal, but it does save me a little bit of time on the go!

I like my iPad but don't love it. I thought I'd be able to blog on it but that's not the case. Sorry I'm complaining instead of helping. I suggest you download google chrome and use that method to go onto the blogger site instead of the app. I still prefer my good ol' laptop for blogging. So much for that iPad - for that use at least !

Aww I love what Big T would say after opening presents! He sounds like such a polite little guy.

Hahaha!!! I used to live CCM too!!! Until I was out an about one say and some guy said "Who smells like Bengay???" I realized that smell was me :( Perfume effects everyone's skin differently and apparently CCM makes me smell like an old man :( Love your Blog! Found you by following Megan.....she's great!!!
