While I love most of those (minus the bratwurst fingers that I can't do shit about) I am not too fond of my Baby Makin' Hips.
Yes, they helped me birth 2 beautiful baby boys naturally, but now?? Well, now I'm done with them.
I don't need those big guys anymore.
I don't plan on having anymore children.
On purpose.
So the hips? They gotta go.
Now don't get me wrong, I like a little curve. I like a little meat on my bones.
But my hips have like an all-you-can-eat-meat-buffet on them.
NO SPANK YOU VERY MUCH!
I want them smaller.
So I've been doing some moves to try and shrink them.
Time will tell how it works, but I wanted to share my new favorite move!

Well, that and of course SQUATS!

Thanks for the tips. Because these baby making hips are done as well. Shops closed out of business no more bambinos. You get the picture and while running IS shrinking them I need to accelerate the process. Thanks girl!

THANK YOU for this post! While I am praying I am not yet done with my baby makin' hips, they are a bit out of control (and really pi$$ing me off lately!). So I have been looking for something to do that will help shrink them. Oh and, as I was reading the "SQUATS" line, I was doing to "SHOTS" before even reading that part, but then I went back and read it again like that! LOL Thanks Mama L!
Throw in some Deadlifts girl. They will give your ass a nice shelf ;-)
I have the same issue with my hips- thanks Mom! I've been doing lots of weighted bar lifts with an upper pulse using a ball for balance. Ie support your weight with the ball place the weighted bar on the outside of your foot (I use 15lbs) and lift up and down. I do two sets of 20 directly followed with 20 pulse to da top. KILLER, and it seems to be working! A little cushion for the pushin is good, but we gotta keep those bad boys in check! Those TRX ropes are that shit! Love it
I have been enjoying your site for a while now and was wondering if you could do a post, or reply with some advice about working out and not feeling guilty when making/taking time for yourself... I have this HUGE guilt problem and would like to know what you do to overcome it... As a working mom, I struggle to make myself a priority over my kid, my hubby, and my house... What's your secret?
I also happen to have huge baby making hips! seriously mine can pretty much set a world record!! I think you are doing a fabulous job of working on yours! i am going to have to try these killer moves so that i can loose some of mine! Thanks for the advice and as always! Stay Fabulous hott mama!!

Yeah squats! my boyfriend insists I do lots of them when we work out together (go figure) but they for sure tone your butt!
Wow I have double wide hips and short fat fingers and I want both of them gone. I will have to try these moves bc right now my hips are my focas.
Hey! A friend & I are headed to Dallas at the end of the month. She's actually my hairdresser & while getting my hair cut your blog came up. My mother- in-law recently traveled to Dallas to have her hair cut (we live about 4 hours from Dallas). It would of been fine but her hair really didn't look any different! Anyway, I told my hairdresser that my mother-in-law should of used your stylist! She cuts hair out of her home so she just uses different stylist. As a Crossfitter I couldn't agree more with the squats!! You should try carrying weights while doing lunges... It... Works... Wonders..

Thanks for the tips! I too am part of the hippie club thanks to my mom. Running has definitely helped, but part of it is just my skeleton and body frame. I'm taller, broad shouldered and broad hipped, with long thin legs, small waist, and small chest. I've found that even with my recent weight loss, I still need a certain size top to fit my shoulders, and a certain size bottom to fit my hips. I'm doing what I can, but when you start feeling bone, there's not much more to be done. Just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone can relate.

Girl your hips look small to me! But great job busting your butt in the gym. And, I agree that squats work wonders. I used to have a tiny little booty...not anymore!

I have to tell you that you and I have the EXACT same fingers!!! Except I call my fingers hot dog fingers (so does my ENTIRE family) and my toes are the vienna sausages....lmao!! So when I saw this today I about spit out my coffee!! Crack me up girl! Love you and love your posts. You're inspiring me to start running. Just as soon as the weather gets a bit nicer! Oops, and the dvd Great Body Guaranteed also by Beach Body is another amazing dvd. The butt workout is a killer but WORKS!
